Is this chick a normal black or is it a splash or...? This chick is from a pure black langshang flock, and the breeder hasnt seen a chick this light from the same birds in hatching so I'm curious if this looks like just a black chick or something else? [IMG]

I had some sumatras that hatched out very light like that. Of course, they all turned pure black...maybe it's just that way? LOL

Splash are usually tinted neon yellow.

I had a Brown Red Modern hatch like that last year... he grew up all black.

Yup! My black male that started off black and white still has an itty bitty white spot under his chin.

Too cute! They look like little bruisers -- better name em "Butch" and "Killer", or something similar.... [IMG]
