No, do not use that.
Anything with 'caine' in it is toxic to birds.
Lidocaine for example.
If it looks okay you can just leave it be with no ointment.

FOUND IT! I used some non-pain reliving ointment with bactrine. works well. the dryness of it seems to be softening a bit.
