At the start of the year I got my first chickens. 1 polish, 1 cochin, a few australorps, a silkie and a SLW.
Yesterday, my polish passed away because she was sick. She was my favourite bird
R.I.P Roly Poly.

My dear cat Winston was the sweetest ever and died from heart failure.

My daughter's sweet little fainting roo died yesterday. He would faint with feet in the air everytime one of the other boys chased him (although he usually started it). We would bring him in and give him a spoonful of sugar water to revive him. He would wake up and be fine afterward. He began showing subtle signs of decline over the last few days. We let him live the last two days of his life inside with us. He clucked happily as he ate his last meal of scrambled egg (with feed hidden inside) and bits of cooked corn. He passed in his sleep. I suspect he had a heart defect of some sort. He was 6 months old.

So sorry for your losses, everyone. My condolences to you, and I hope you feel better soon.

I lost two of my dearest feathered family members several months ago and it is still a sore subject for me. The first was Pineapple, my cockatiel, leaving my other cockatiel, his brother by blood, alone. I soon purchased another cockatiel to soothe him, but there is nobody that can truly replace Pineapple. He died of a respiratory infection that I couldn't catch fast enough to cure. The very memory of him passing in my hands brings tears to my eyes.

Not long afterward, I lost Amber, my Easter Egger hen. She was my baby; I could pick her up and cradle her, stroke her velvety feathers as she fell asleep in my arms, and she'd follow me around the yard as I fed the others. She was really a special bird, and I miss her so much. She died of heat exhaustion. I found her in the yard the day before when she was free-ranging, panting and heaving with droopy wings, so I took her in the house for some cold water and an air-conditioned place to stay. After that, she seemed perfectly fine, just as inquisitive and aloof as before, and healthy feces (A little descriptive, sorry, but that's something you have to look for when deciphering an illness). The next morning, I found her laying dead in the coop.

My dog Taz was the Sweetest Dog i had ever met...My dad loved that dog *I think he loved him more than me*He would never hurt a fly *unless he sat on it*

He had to be put down on the day of my schools Fall carnival....He had a Brain Tumor.....I <3 you Taz..Your my buddy...... R.I.P. Tazy

Simoan,My cute and cuddly baby mallard that i found with all its other brothers and siters there mother was ran over...

But one day Simoan went in the forest and never came back...but a fox got her.. R.I.P. Simoan

And Honey and her duckling....They were great but her baby didn't eat....

And honey got eaten by a fox becuse of Me!I was so eresponsible and left her and trouble out....And honey had to pay....Honey forgive me and Im sorry to the both of you,R.I.P. Honey R.I.P. Honey's Duckling

my best chihuahua friend...and Gustavo is on his way too

he might have parvo and I can't find a vet

they're closed during the weekends and labor day which is monday so I'm screwed.
