A wattle is starting to grow on my chicken

If you lift his or hers head up and kinda dig in its feathers you'll see some really small wattles, and they look light pink or dark orange. Does this mean he's a boy? By the way he or she is 3 weeks old.

Not necessarily. It could be, but it might be a pullet. Really depends on the breed.

I think it's a grey American game chicken, but if it is a boy, I'm not gonna fight him.
