Cock-a-doodle-doo from Wisconsin! Yeah, you betcha, Packer country!!
Just found this sight through FB somehow.
I am not currently raising any chickens but hope to this coming spring. I had 20 hens and a few roosters several years back but processed them when they were two+ years old. I wasn't able to buy any more at that time because of an extended financial difficulty.
That's all behind us now and I am looking forward to those little puff balls once again and the beautiful sounds of happy foraging chickens! Gosh...how I miss that!
The breeds I have had before were Rhode Island Reds, Plymouth(Barred) Rocks, Buff Orpingtons, White Rocks, and Black Australorps. A lovely flock assortment to watch and care for on a daily basis.
Looking forward to meeting fellow chicken herders and learning along the way.
Cluck, cluck!
