Abnormal chicken poop?

I have chickens, and I have 1 rooster that is free range because he refuses to stay in the pen. He is almost 3 I believe. I am in Oklahoma, it has been pretty cold here, but just snowed yesterday for the first time this year. He has stayed in the garage, and when I went in there earlier I saw some weird poop. After a quick inspection of him, the only thing kind of weird was that he had a small amount of saliva in his beak. Nothing else seems off. I was wondering if anyone could give me ideas as to why his droppings look like this? I have read but there are so many things it could be. (He did not poop out the piece of glass, just pooped on it!)

I would check to make sure his crop is emptying overnight and look him over for lice/mites.
If possible, get a fecal float to see if worms may be an issue.
