Hi all - first post - I noticed our 1yo bantam pekin hen (Matilda) making abnormal jerking head and neck movements (see video link below); while cursory web research points to possible sour crop - her crop feels soft and couldn't detect bad breath.

Should I bring her to a vet?
    Cheers,

You don't necessarily always smell the bad breath with sour crop and the crop will be soft. Like a water balloon. What was she doing before the video? Had she just ate? If you suspect sour crop, check her crop in the morning before any feeding. Their crops should be empty in the morning.
