??? about shows...

I Plan to show this cock at a fair coming up in 1 week and 3 days from today. Ive seen other show birds most dont have their spurs do i have to remove them? anyone that shows theirs please let me know...ive never seen a cock at this age with its spurs in a show...so, do i have to remove them in order to show at a poultry show or is it ok as is?

If so i should retract my entry no?

We've only shown in county fairs and we've never removed our roo's spurs. I'm sure someone who has shown regularly would be able to tell you. BTW...your roo is beautiful !!!!!!

You don't need the spurs cut off to show. at least not on the cochins you don't.
