Abscess?

I first noticed that my hen had a bald place on her breast several days ago. I didn't pay too much attention to it. Then I noticed that it was about the size of an orange and swinging back and forth when she walked. I felt of it last night when she was on the roost, and it feels very warm. Is this an abscess of some kind? What should I do? She's not very tame. THANK YOU!!!

Impacted crop? How's her poop? Is she still eating/drinking normally? Put up a pic so the more educated members can have a better idea as to what you are dealing with. If it is her crop and its infected then you have a whole new issue of infection spreading to other parts of her body.
