accidentally kicked/pushed my chick, will she be upset?

i was walking around with one of my older chicks(im not sure exactly how old she is but she has all her feathers and seems to be in the "teen" stage) and she follows me around. i hadn't seen her get so close to my foot and accidentally kicked her, my foot kind of scooped her and pushed her forward a bit and she ran from me. i went over to her and started petting her and apologizing but she didn't seem to want me to pick her up. she seems to be physically fine, she's moving around without any problems and eating and drinking, but will she be upset with me or trust me less? i would never want to hurt her so i really hope she's still happy with me

Id be a little put out, too, if a giant - even a friendly giant - nearly stepped on me...

Crap I have to use my foot to push mine out of the way every time I walk into the run. Mine come running to me in a huge mob and otherwise I'd have to step on them to even get my eggs.

I stepped on my Brahma once. Thought I broke her foot. She is my biggest fan (literally and figuratively). Aster is a BIG girl...

Chickens push, shove, peck, and chest-bump when establishing dominance. She doesn't feel like a human would -- that you were being rude -- she is a chicken and now knows that you're higher in the pecking order than she is.

I've punted plenty of chickens, doesn't stop them from running right up to you again in a matter of minutes.
