To all you pigeon fanciers out there just a note to make you aware.
I lost a young squeaker just beginning to fly. Long story short it drowned during bath time..

I am still beating myself up over it.

I have cut off the bottom of a 45 gal plastic barrel as a bath tub.

I usually supervise bath time nine times out of ten.

The birds all jump in at once and squeaker paid the price.

Hoping my mistake may save another fancier from doing something similar.

That is a bummer, but thank you for sharing. The bath I use is similar, and my birds sometimes all rush to it at once.

In a perfect world, I'd have a divided loft or separate lofts, and wouldn't have to worry about this so much, but for now my loft is what it is.
