Poise, who clearly has more enthusiasm than finesse, dashed out of the coop before looking. As a little southern chicken who has never seen snow in her life, she was shocked.

The others were no help. Nary a rescue party went out.

Lucy the dog was no help either. She wouldn't leave the doggie door.

Lily tried to find a St Bernard, but no luck.

Poor little chicken. Maybe it will thaw soon.

Poor little Poise! She looks mystified! We haven't had a good snow day yet, but rumor has it that storm is headed this way!

    Haha.
Maybe next time she will look before she leaps. AND it shows who her true friends are since they left her. [IMG]

HA! The silly chickens are still in the coop. Poise finally inched her way back inside and nobody else is brave enough to venture out. I can hear them all out there fussing.
    Silly chickens.

Actually, I should go out and check on them. With the weather so icky, one or ten of them are likely to go broody. That seems to be our pattern. [IMG]
