Acting like she needs to lay...but now egg

I have an almost 6 month old BSL who I've only gotten one egg from so far (from what I can tell). The last couple days she keeps hopping in and out of the nest boxes and being noisy like she needs to lay an egg...but doesn't. She goes from the nestboxes to the floor, acts like she wants to sit, and then stands up and leaves. Not sure what's going on. Sunday I caught her in the box but went out later and there were no eggs? Any ideas?

My girls do this sometimes... When they do act like this, usually they'll do it in the afternoon and we wont get an egg until the next morning... But they usually lay first thing... Maybe she's just getting ready???

Haha yep, there was a little pullet egg on the floor of the coop this evening. Unfortunately it had a hole in the bottom...I'm worried there's an egg eater in there or something. Ah well, I got it before it was eaten!

I guess I just jumped the gun
