I'm reading different info on this.....can you put ACV in a plastic container? Is the only reaction in galvanized metal? I read that it can have reactions in the material and should only be used with stainless steal, is this true?

Yes, use it only in plastic containers and never metal. The acidity hits the metal and turns it or rusts it. Chickens really won't drink it then. And you will lose a drinking container.

What is ACV?

Anyone know if you can use ACV in a plastic nipple waterer setup ... I think the metal components in nipples are stainless steal ?

Considering that in making pickles you use either granite ware, stainless or plastic.....just not aluminum, there's no reason you should have any problem with your waterers. Hope this helps.
