Added eggs last night and temp drop to 97

I touched the dial... to bring the temp back up. I know a lot of people say once you have a steady temp of 99.5 to not touch it. I had a steady 99.5 for a day in the bator before adding my eggs. Once I added my eggs things looked fine but upon waking up this morning temps were at 97. Is this normal for temps to drop upon adding eggs?

My humidity is around 30. I didn't add any water because I want to try the dry incubation method. Is 30 a okay number. I have read conflicting post on humidity.

the temps always drop when eggs are added. Don't fuss with the temp control b/c the temp will go back up on it's own. Turning it up will cause it to be highwer than you want when the eggs get heated.
