Added the last piece... The Nest Boxes Today...

I went to Lowes and got some huge tubberware storage thingies, a little straw , and now I am ready for some EGGS!!

BTW When your hunting these things down in Lowes and your trying to describe them to 3 male store associates and they say "oh you need them for recycleing" and you reply "No for egg nest boxes for my hens".. You will get some looks let me tell ya!!!

One more thing. Do your hens have a problem getting to the top nest without a ledge to stand on? I was wondering if they would pull the nest down while trying to enter.

Should be easy to clean. What about screwing a small towel rod to the top one for a entry perch? Did you ancor them to the wall to prevent tipping, afraid the birds would not reenter if they fell over once ot twice. They can get skiddish easily.
