We Quit Cigarettes

The way it was written sounded like any person could do this and be fine. I know people with diabetes can do this easily it's because of the disease they have. My aunt had type 1 and my grandfather had type 1, I'm very familiar with diabetes. They HAD to do low carb because they had no choice. It was either do it or suffer with the consequence. My grandfather had sores and such all over his legs. He actually got heart issues and died at 53.
And to add my aunt was eating very high carb like pastas which are awful for even a normal person. She wasn't eating veggies or anything like that. More like sweets and other stuff.

A person has to get nutrients somehow though and if they’re not eating them it might be necessary no? Wait is it really bad for the liver? Even just a multivitamin or something? I’m not talking about like 20 million a day or a trillion different kinds or anything
And a lot of multivitamins only give you a certain amount of a nutrient. Look at a multivitamin bottle... Not everything is 100% so you still should consume food that has vitamins.

I'm just gonna toss this out there....

Any diet plan that restricts/eliminates an entire food group should definitely be overseen be a physician.

It is 100% possible to overdose on vitamins with drastic consequences.
The human body cannot eliminate all the "extras" we throw at it.

Agreed.

And wait really? I thought a lot of them the body just excreted the excess?

Great advice... I've seen people take too many and their liver suffered for it

I'm 100% overseen by all my specialists with plant based or vegan. They actually love learning from me. My pulmonologist is amazing

I didn’t think it was written that way. I took it as like “most” but of course there will always be exceptions.

And I’m sorry. That’s awful. :(

Take A multivitamin... Not a handful of pills is okay. Everything should be done in moderation. You should never take more pills than your Dr recommends. Taking too much vitamins can be just as bad as not taking any at all.

Yeah that makes sense but with most vitamins it takes a ton to overdose. It is pretty hard to overdose on vitamins. You would have to be taking way above the recommended dose or be eating tons of them.

And I don’t think asking a Dr is necessarily necessary. Can be helpful but they usually don’t know much about nutrition anyway.

And I’ve been taking kind of a lot lately but I’m going to be cutting most out soon. And they’re all totally different

Oh yeah I would never advocate only eating vitamins and nothing else haha I was just thinking if someone isn’t getting them through food.

I think you'll have to google that. I think that includes some carbs? And it involves ketones.
I'm not much help. :p

Yeah I’ll definitely have to Google it later haha
