My family is picking up our 6 little ladies this weekend. This will be our first time raising chickens. We are getting one week old red and black stars. We are very excited! We have already found this website very helpful. It will be great to be able to ask more questions as they come up in the years to come I'm sure.

[IMG] from Ky. Hope you like eggs. You should be getting 2-3 dozen a week this fall with those chicks.

Welcome to B Y C from WVa. We also added 5 RIR's to our large family of 7. My kids enjoy playing with them and seeing how fast they grow. I hope you and your family enjoy the chickens.
