    Hello!

I had to give away 4 out of my 6 chicks since they were roosters and did not want to alert the neiborhood (chickens are not legal here!). So I have two Chantecler (one white and one pattrige) and looking to introduce another chicken. They are 3 months old and I would like to have a breed which is docile (with future roommates![IMG]), winter hardy (MontrĂ©al weather) and friendly with kids. Any suggestion? Favorites? My daughter would like to have the Plymouth Rock as we're coming back from a vacation on the farm and loved them...

    Thanks!!

I love Buff Orps. They are very docile and friendly. One of my orps, always runs to me and sits on my feet waiting to be picked up. I live in Michigan and my girls do fine in the winter.
