Adolescent vs adult plumage?

So having a white teenaged duck, I was curious of her adult feathers would look any different. Is it normal for adult plumage to look fuller than teen ones? Or is this the shape she's gonna always have?

Also...Wobbles keeps trying to peck the keyboard as I write this, so hopefully I haven't misspelled anything!
