I have one that does this. Her first time and then all the times after that so I don't let her incubate anymore. I feel like it's my fault tho lol I mean I named her "nightshade" one time she did it and I cut her tail feathers off and clipped her wings I was so mad I didn't think about it but she hasn't gone broody since then either

The broody hens died? Were they getting up and eating/drinking?

I brought water and food to them. I don't know what happened. And a few made there way under the house and we didn't know about it and died under there. Isa Browns in my experience love to go broody but die very easily .
