I just recently adopted both birds shown in the picture. I don't known any of their history. We are figuring that they are a mixed breed but we don't know with what. So if anyone has any suggestions as to what they could be it would be greatly appreciated. Also we know for sure one is a female but we can't figure out if the one with the bigger and brighter comb is a male or not. Some say it's a male because of the size of the comb and wattle but all of my laying hens have very bright and large combs and wattles....so thank you for any help given in advance
