advice on baby chicks

my 5 day old chicks gotehold of some corn and i can see it stuck in their neck will this go down eventually or will this
this be fatal please any advice will be very useful

So your baby chick swallowed a piece of corn and now it is stuck in her neck?

Is it in her NECK or in her CROP? The crop is on the right side of the chicken's keel. It'll feel like a little squishy pouch or a hard little mass (depending on the time of day and if the chicken ate yet).

As long a you're also offering grit to your babies, and it's not literally a WHOLE piece of corn, she should be okay.

I've got no idea what would happen if a chick managed to eat a whole piece...

Any more info you can give would help.

Yes that was helpfull it's in the crop it was some dry mixed cor n so hopefully with water they should be ok yes... thanks for the help
