This is my first attempt to hatch eggs and today is day 25 and I figured that the eggs probably aren't going to hatch and that I did something wrong. So, I decided as one last check I would do a float test because I had read about it on here from a couple people. I tested each egg and they each floated with the end up where the air sac should be. Now what? Does this mean they are alive? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I believe in that float test you are looking for the egg to twitch. I have never did it that way. I feel for heat after the eggs have been out for a few minutes. Live eggs should be hot, dead eggs are not as hot.

Thanks. I don't know what I'm looking for. The eggs didn't stay still, they slightly bobbed (not like they were going to sink, but a tad bit of movement). I don't know, I just don't want to get rid of the eggs if there are live chicks in there!
