advice?

we currently have two roosters in with our hens, both of which breed the hens... one is related to all but one of the hens, and we plan to separate her and him from the rest this week for breeding... how long should we wait before collecting eggs to hatch from the rest of the hens( who will be left with the unrelated rooster), to prevent any chance of inbreeding...

from what I have been told and have read hens can sperm store for a fortnight so I would leave them for at least 3 weeks just to make sure

thanks... that was pretty much what I was always told, but it never hurts to double check... some of the people who have told me that have been dead wrong on other things, so while I value their input, I have learned not to rely just on their word...
