I have a single emu egg in my incubator. Currently on day 50. I weighed it prior to incubating and made a graph to chart its weight loss. Until today, it's been great and going perfectly- straight line.
But. I haven't seen it definitely wiggle. At times I thought I saw a small amount of movement, but I could have just imagined it.
I weighed it carefully today, and it's lost 5 more grams than I expected, a sudden deviation from the perfectly straight line of weight loss in my graph.
Should I add more water? Is this normal? Should I be patient? Is all hope lost??
All advice appreciated!
