Aerial spraying for mosquitoes - should I worry???

Discussion in 'Managing Your Flock' started by chickfamilyonsleepyhollow, Aug 3, 2010.

  1. I just found out that my county will do aerial spraying tomorrow night to kill off mosquitoes … should I be concerned that it will hurt my chickens [IMG] They will be in the coop that is totally enclosed. My husband thinks they will be fine [IMG]

They will be fine. My area street sprays every month. The whole yard stinks horrably after they go by. But I keep the dogs in and I stay in when I smell that truck coming.

Chickens just keep pecking away. Doesn't bother them at all.

  3. Thanks for the info [IMG]
