My grandma Lola built her chicken houses from the soil in her yard mixed with a little cement. She made wooden forms to put the soil cement mixture in. They are still in pretty good shape however the cedar shingle roofs have been replaced with sheet iron. Instead of housing chickens they are now used for storage.

We bought a 100 year old farmstead. And after clearing back 6ft tall weeds. We found 2 huge barns, a house, a milk house, three sheds and a chicken coop. The chicken coop still stands and is as study as ever. It has birds in it right now. It's awesome too. Huge, with concrete floors. I know my other coops won't still be standing in 100 years. It's amazing how they built stuff back then.
