Is there a best age to butcher geese? All I can find is "under 6 months".
Actually, 6 months gets them just perfect for Christmas dinner. As big as they are at 7 weeks, I figure they will be about 125 pounds for Christmas. They really grow fast.
Is there an age where they stop growing so much? I don't need to feed them past the point where they are getting bigger.
