Age? Pullet? Silkie help please

New chick mommy. I just got this lil silkie a week ago. First question is age? And then is it old enough to tell the sex? Hoping for an egg layer lol

First it is a little young to tell but I'm going to say roo. And if it was a pullet she wouldn't lay that much because she would always be broody!! Which if you want to hatch any chicks is a good thing!

I'm not sure on age or gender, but I think it may be around 10 weeks old. I'm leaning towards pullet.
