Aggressive male Pekin ?

I recently introduced two new females to our lone male pekin. I though that by gradually bring them together it would help the transition but he's constantly attacking the Rouen. Today her head was bloody from losing feathers. Will he ever get used to them? I know that mating can be harsh and aggressive but how long will it go on?

Ducks mate year round. There doesn't seem to be a mating season for domestic ducks.
Is he actually attacking them, or is it just mating?

Ducks do mate year round but do have a mating season when the drakes hormones are high....Did you introduce slowly or just toss them in with him?....How old are the Hens?....

He's attacking to mate. Which I know can be harsh but it's just hard to watch. Drake is 3 years old and the hens are about 3 months. He mainly attacks the rouen hen.

They were introduced slowly with open yard time together first.

If they were mine, I would separate them until the hens are mature. 12 week old duck hens are still very immature.

I agree they aren't even laying age yet.
