Aggressive Rooster

Hello. So about a month ago I added a new rooster to our flock of 11 hens and he was always great with other chickens up until recently. There has been a couple specific hens he has been bullying and attacking for no reason and they have become afraid of him and won’t go down to eat or drink or out to free range afraid he’ll attack them again. I’ve tried kenneling for a few days but that didn’t work, I’m really stressed about this and don’t know what to do.

Get rid of him, no animal is worth the stress.

Can you separate him for a few days? Knock him down in the pecking order?

Don't allow him to roost in the coop at night, keep him separated.

How old is he? His hormones might be influencing his behavior.

Have him for dinner

A good rooster that is worth keeping would never attack any hen of his flock even though he might have some favorites.
