Aggressive rooster

Well we had to cull my rooster! He was the best and very protective of his girls! The problem was is he became very protective of all the animals! And he became threatening! He began to watch and follow me everywhere! He even attacked my dog! Then today I was careless and when I picked up my turkey, he stuck his spur in my hand! I didn't want him to die but my boy friend explained that we couldn't have that on the farm! I learned to never turn my back out there! I will miss him!

On this one, your boyfriend was right. Sad that it had to happen, but such a rooster provides the potential for someone getting seriously injured. I think that you did the right thing.

Thank you! I know it was the right thing to do but it's still sad! And I have to think of others also! Especially my grand babies!
