I received baby chicks 2 weeks ago today. Boy have they changed. Our golden comet is... hummm... interesting looking. She has lost 3/4 of her baby fluff and now is 3/4 feathers. She has been growing with leaps and bounds.

I have been nervous lately with my golden laced wyandotte and barred Plymouth about their gender. 'No boys allowed' says dad. We should have just gone with all sex links.

They have been outside already to explore their run. They enjoy eating spiders and sunflower seeds.

I have 9 Golden Comets! Love 'em. They start laying very early. My girls are all quite tame (& spoiled). I got this type of chicken specifically to make sure I got no roosters. No regrets! Have fun...
