My silkie girl has finally started to lay eggs. Yippii I'm thinking. She layed 2 eggs than went broody. What the [IMG] Crazy bird. [IMG]

Lil Miss Lou Lou hatched these two out and she is still sitting on about 7 eggs that my Sultan hen Sophia snuck in and layed. I'm waiting on her to come off the nest now and feel like I will be crancking my bator back up.

Nothing like a broody silkie... mine made it 2 months before I have to drag her out of the nest box screaming. Then she's back in there 2 seconds later.

I'm torn between cold water bath and just sticking a duck egg under her and letting her have her way.

Congrats of the eggs though... I bet they were the best tasting eggs ever! [IMG]
