My son got an air soft rifle for his birthday. It shoots round plastic pellets the size and shape of BBs. Will my chickens be harmed if they eat theese? My kid is hoping to set up a hay bale and have some fun, but I am worried about my hens (who have the run of the whole yard) getting sick. [IMG]

I have had many airsoft pellets eaten by my chickens.

They all come out in the end.

Just so they don't eat the metal pellets they'll be fine. Mine eat the plastic ones 24/7 and are never hurt.

Mine have also eaten to plastic pellets with no problems. I do make the kids shoot in the front yard now though.
