I was wondering is there any way to look up a dog through AKC? I was just wondering because I do not have much information on the sire of my corgi.

It is under the store section on AKC's website. You need either the dog's name or registration number.

I managed to trace my collie's family back to 1900 using info from AKC and from other websites. All for free but that was a couple years ago. It made a great present for his breeder and for his brother's owner. I even found pictures of many of his ancestors. I put all the information in my genealogy program. Instant pedigree [IMG]

I have traced my Golden on k9data.com by putting in either his sire or dam's name. I suspect you'd get the same info on either site though.
