My chicks love alfalfa sprouts, and they are now rushing to greet me at the door of the coop and will eat them out of my hand and jump up on my foot or knee begging for more. Just thought I would share for those of you looking for a cheap treat.
 
You grow them yourself right? Mung beans are also good. We sprout..I am glad I bought larger jars and lids becuase I will be needing them lol
