All 6 girls laid an egg today!

So proud of the ladies! No more soft eggs from the doms. Found a very small light brown egg in the nest box. Previously she had been laying soft eggs in the coop floor. And when we were outside. We found our vision impaired dom laid a small light brown egg next to the others dust bath spot! We weren't sure she was going to lay. We will have to keep a look out for her eggs, I think she will end up laying them anywhere! Are doms egg usually light brown? Our others girls are RSL and lay nice med or darkish brown eggs.

Isn't it exciting? COngrats. Yesterday my girls all laid for the first time on the same day. I actually got 5 eggs from 4 hens. @ Buff orphingtons and 2 Rhode island reds.
