    Here are my 4 3 week old EE chicks! What are they? Please dont say boys cause theyre all soo nice! [​IMG]
    1st we have Peepers(nicest)

    2nd we have Penny(2nd nicest)

    3rd we have calvin(runs from me like im gonna eat it!)

    Ya probly won't like this, but it still may be a little early to tell. The sorta look like they may be hen's, you'll have to keep an eye on how the combs are developing.
    Did you specifically have hens ordered or did you buy from someone local? Did they tell you they were hen's?

    It's just tough to tell sex when they are still so young. Hope this helps a little bit.

    They look like hens to me. My Ameraucana's are also very leary of people. They come to me only and only when I have something they want. When did you get yours?

    I say they are all girls. I had two, and at 2 weeks old, I could see that one was a male .

    Wow, did you say those chicks were 13 weeks old? My chickens are 13 weeks old and fully feathered without any 'fluff' except for the undersides of their bums (which I suspect are their feathers down there & won't change much. Of course I don't have EEs, but I thought chickens were generally feathered out by around 10 weeks.

    I have 3 week old male - you can definitely tell he's a male compared to the rest. I will take a picture of him this afternoon and post it for you.
