We had some sister wives go broody on us and we ended up with a couple mutt ducklings that have four moms. (Lol). They are two days old and we have been keeping them sequestered from the rest of the flocks (drakes, hens and geese). Do we need to do this? Will the moms protect them? Every other time we have always raised them in a brooder and then kept them separated until they were big enough to keep away from anyone who wanted to bully them, but I thought this might be different since they have moms to teach and protect them.
