Almost 6 month old Polish chick.

I’m starting to worry that she is actually a he. I have been so sure, but I’m not as sure anymore now that her comb has started to get fairly red.

It seems like a girl only because my gold polish has a comb that pops up near his nose and starts spreading out if that makes sense. And at 6 months it should be popping out so that’s why I do think it’s a female.

I’m fairly new to polish, but those don’t look like rooster saddle feathers to me.

All of my pullets get a little more red right before they start to lay.
