Almost finished coop

The coop and chickens was this yrs addition to our homestead project. The coop was finished we bought from Murreys and starting raising our own. We had issues with our chicks with all the rain. Lost a few. Gave some away in the beginining. Only needed 8. We have 4 left now. There was some neighbors getting rid of 20 black sexed chickens and we took 10 of them. Pretty good since they were and are laying. Soon we introduce the younger ones to the flock. Over all been a great learnig hands on project. The family is having fun and it's not a chore. They all are part of the family and I think that is what it's all about. See pix in link.
