Almost lost my Dog

My beloved rottweiler girl,who is 9 years old and suffers from cushing's,hypothyroid and has an enlarged esophagus,got very sick yesterday(throwing up,not eating).Rushed her to the vet right away and it was determined that the dog had aspiration pneumonia and possibly a collapsed lung.She of course was hospitalized.I spend the rest of saturday crying and trying to prepare myself for the worst.At 7:45 this morning her wonderful vet called to tell me that my dog was doing much better!!!!!She is now eating,wagging her stup and has been outside going potty and running around.I might possibly bring her home tomorrow.I feel very blessed to have some more time with my beloved dog and to have such a dedicated vet.Today is a good day.

I'm glad you will get more time with her. Have a friend who just went through that. It's not easy.
