Ack! Saffron doesn't crow until after 7am when he's closed up in the coop, but we forgot to close the door last night. Should I risk going out to close the door now when the sun is almost coming up and perhaps waking him and prompting him to crow earlier? Or do I just leave it and risk him crowing earlier? I'm in a residential neighborhood which is why this is a concern.

    Thanks!

i guess it depends on how well the door muffles the sound. I'd say close it. Its worth the risk of waking him up earlier to have that crow quieted a bit when he DOES start.

That's true. It's a risk either way. Better to be muffled at least a bit. Ok, going out now. Thanks for the response.
