Alright fellow BYCer's, Ayam Cemani

    New to this breed, so very unfamiliar. Took a gamble and bought "3 purebred ayam cemani hens and 1 purebred rooster" off of a buy sell trade forum. I'm curious as to if you guys think they are true cemani's. Just to put my mind to rest (as far as the cost lol) You're not going to hurt my feelings, I'm still learning this poultry business and loving every second of it! True cemani or not, will still be a great addition to the flock.

    Cockerel has a lot of pink in his wattles/comb, but that can happen... look fibro though...

    @cjwaldon or @Pyxis would be best to ask, they're both reputable Ayam Cemani breeders...

    To the naked eye they look black, but when I turn my flash on there's a slight reddish tint. That's what was really making me nervous. But I read that the severity of the fibro varies from cemani to cemani. I pm'ed @cjwaldon. Thank you so much for your help!
