Does anyone have a situation where their hen is always broody? I have a hen that loves to lay and set AND hatch. She is an EXCELLENT mother! She always allows me to place other eggs under her with no fuss. I can touch, pet and check on her whenever I want. She is not fussy or aggressive at all. When the chicks are hatched, she allows me to play with them and handle them anytime I like. She hatches every egg under her and will take care of her babies for about 8 weeks and then she goes broody again. I'm afraid that she will tire out from this constant behavior of being broody. Is this a good or bad problem to have? What should I do? Should I just let her do what she likes to do and allow her to lay, set and hatch as often as she likes? Please tell me your thoughts.

SEND HER TO ME! ...my thoughts

To be honest, I'm almost at the point of renting her out. When I get home and see that she has gone broody "again", all I can do is shake my head and say "NOT AGAIN"!

She does have a twin sister. I can have her there to you by 5pm today.
