I have an approximately 7 month old Buff that is exhibiting some really weird behaviors.
Whenever I approach her, and sometimes within the flock, she will just puff up and start clucking and running around.
Yesterday she was in the nesting box and hissed and screamed at me to leave her alone. I pulled her out. She was super mad.
She exhibits signs of being broody but doesn't sit around all day. She forages, drinks water, eats her food, and runs around the yard with the rest of the chickens. She also isn't lethargic and her tail does go up when I see her walking around so I don't think she is injured.
She started doing this 3 or 4 days ago.
