HI A mini rant/cry moment for me.

Anyways. My friend(we'll call her Cheese), has chickens. Her parents owned chickens for a LONG time.
    Now she has 17 chicks/chickens.
    2 hens and a roo in a 3X3 pen
    1 roo in a 3X3
    another roo in a 3X3
    and 2 BO chicks in a 3x3
and an RSL in a 4X4
    and 5 chicks(prbably 3-4 months old in a 4X3 pen
    and 3 6 month old roos in a 4X4

I went to her house to for some help with french class.
In the pen with the 5 chicks, there was a terrible scene.
A chick, about 4-5 inches tall(well, all the chicks in that pen were the same size), was dying
    It was BLOODY.
    no back/tail/neck feathers
they started ripping its head feathers and made it bleed.
I was tearing up(oh yeah, crying is real manly lol).
She knows about this situtaion for a few days.
Now, her parent dont give a d*mn.
They refuse to cull it, and dont have a place to separate it.
    I cant take it though.
Now I cant call the cops, since I am the only one they let near the chickens. Cheese(my friend) is sad too, but not as sad as me(I get REALLY emotional if I see an animal in pain

I felt so helpless I cant do anything. Am I a terrible person? Was there something I can do to help? I asked God to stop its suffering.

    Ps(they were OEGBS(fighters))

These ARE NOT my chickens, but my friends

You should call animal control. There's no point letting an animal suffer just b/c someone else refuses to do something about it. Or you should just ask if you can take it...even if you just take it and cull it.
