My 24 Week old EE (no eggs from any of the gang yet).
Looks like a hen to me. You might want to listen to someone else though. I'm not very experienced.
hen : )
She is adorable.
Winter can delay the onset of egg laying. Just give them time. Honest, you do not want the problems that come with chickens who lay eggs early - I always hope my girls will be late layers (8 months or older).
If that's a cockerel then I'm an all in wrestler!!
I think she is a pretty girl. My EE that looks similiar to yours didn't lay for the first time until last Jan, when she was about 9 mo old. Patience.
My EEs were only slightly redder in the comb than that girl when they started laying @ 6 months old.
You'll see eggs before too very much longer.
Pretty EE pullet! You'll be getting some pretty eggs soon too by the look of her comb.
Yep definitely a LADY and will soon start laying the pretiest GREEN eggs you ever seen!! Got One and she just started Laying
